March 11, 2013 - Today, Bradley celebrates World Plumbing Day- an international day designed to emphasize the importance of plumbing in the health and safety of our current society. Many believe that clean water is a right, but in some places it is a luxury. Studies show that 3.1 million people across the world die of diseases related to a lack of water sanitation and safe drinking water. A large percentage of these deaths are children under the age of five.
The World Plumbing Council and the World Health Organization are dedicated to reducing these numbers with the "Health Aspects of Plumbing" publication. "Health Aspects of Plumbing" raises awareness about the best plumbing practices/systems and discusses their benefits. It is a resource for administrators and citizens across the world.
Please join us in celebrating and promoting this important day.
